These are the rules for the part of HabitHouse that other people can see. Your habits, your logs, your notes and your coach chats stay private, but the wins you post, the reactions you leave, and the name and avatar on your profile are seen by the friends you have accepted, so everything on this page is about that shared side of the app.
The rules
When you post, react, or set up your profile, you agree not to share or do any of the following:
- photos you do not have the right to share, or photos of other people without their consent;
- nudity or sexual content, and any sexual content involving a minor;
- content that harasses, threatens, bullies, or demeans a person or a group;
- hateful content, or content that promotes violence, self-harm, eating disorders, or illegal activity;
- spam, scams, or advertising;
- a username, display name, or avatar that impersonates someone else or is used to deceive;
- a way around a block, or repeated requests to someone who has declined you.
HabitHouse is for people 13 and older, and these rules apply to everyone who uses it.
What happens when a rule is broken
We review reports, and we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or end an account that breaks these rules or our Terms of Use, with or without notice depending on how serious it is.
When we remove a post, it goes from HabitHouse, including from your friends' feeds. We cannot remove a copy that someone has already saved or screenshotted.
How to report
You can report a post or a person from inside the app. Reports are read by a person on our team.
You can also write to us directly. Email [email protected] and tell us what happened, with the username involved and anything that helps us find it. Use that address if you would rather not report in the app, if you cannot get to it, or if you are writing about something that happened to someone else.
To review a report we keep a copy of the reported content and the details of the report for up to 90 days, even if the post or the account is deleted in the meantime. Our Privacy Policy covers how that is handled.
How to block
You can block any person, and hide any post, from inside the app. Blocking is immediate: they can no longer see your posts and you no longer see theirs.
Reporting and blocking are separate actions, so if you want both, do both. Reporting, blocking, deleting your account, and reading your own history never require a subscription.
Appeals
If we take an action on your account or content that you think is a mistake, email [email protected] with the subject line "Appeal" and we will look at it again.
